Verses of Voilence ?

Internet is full of misinformation regarding Islam. Cherry picking Quranic verses and quoting them out of context is most common tool used by critics of Islam, hatemongers and bigots to Malign image of Muslims and Islam.
Now some politicians are also fueling anti-Muslim hatred to increase their political mileage.
This blog aims to address common misconceptions regarding Islam.
This blog will also expose falsehood and lies used by some popular anti-Islamic websites like thereligionofpeace.com (TROP)
There are 6236 Quranic Verses and 4400 Authentice Hadiths. Out of these 12 Quranic verses and 16 Hadiths are cherry picked and quoted out of context by critics of Islam and hatrmongers to falsely prove that Islam promotes voilence and killing of innocents.
Those verses and Hadiths were revealed at the time of various battles like
battle of Badr, battle of Uhud, battle of Tabuk etc. Their relevance is limited to warfare environment of similar battles.
Quran and Hadiths have clearly and undoubtedly instructed to avoid war and follow path of peace and reconciliation.
In Quran Allah ordered to prefer the path of peace, forgiveness and patience.
INCLINE TO PEACE:
Quran 8:61
And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing.
FULFIL TREATIES:
Quran 9:4
In exception to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity are those with whom you have made treaties and who have not violated their treaties nor have backed up anyone against you. Fulfil your treaties with them till the end of their term. Surely Allah loves the pious.
DO NOT FIGHT WITH THOSE WHO OFFER PEACE:
Quran 4:90
Except for those who take refuge with a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty or those who come to you, their hearts strained at [the prospect of] fighting you or fighting their own people. And if Allah had willed, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. So if they remove themselves from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not made for you a cause [for fighting] against them.
BE PATIENT:
Quran 3:200
O  you  who  believe!  Be  patient,  and  advocate  patience,  and  be  united,  and  revere  Allah,  so  that you  may  thrive.
Quran 11:11
Except those  who are  patient and  do good deeds—these  will  have  forgiveness  and  a great  reward.
RESTRAIN ANGER AND FORGIVE PEOPLE:
Quran 3:134
Those who  give in  prosperity  and  adversity,  and  those  who  restrain  anger,  and  those who forgive  people.  Allah loves  the  doers  of good.
Quran 42:37
And  those  who  avoid  major  sins  and  indecencies;  and  if  they  become angry,  they  forgive.
Quran 16:126
If  you  were  to retaliate,  retaliate  to the same degree as  the injury  done to  you.  But  if you  resort to  patience—it is  better  for  the  patient.
ADHERE TO JUSTICE:
Quran 4:8
O  you  who believe!  Be  upright to Allah,  witnessing  with justice;  and  let  not  the  hatred  of a certain people  prevent  you  from  acting justly.  Adhere  to justice,  for  that is  nearer  to piety;  and  fear  Allah.  Allah  is  informed  of what you  do.

Prophet Mohammad ﷺ clearly instructed to avoid war and conflicts and pursue the path of peace and reconciliation.
WAR IS A DECEIT:
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume  4,  Book  52,  Number  268: Narrated  Abu  Huraira: Allah's  Apostle  called,:  "War  is  deceit".
AVOID WAR:
Sahih Bukhari:
Volume  4,  Book  52,  Number  266c: Narrated  Abu  Huraira: The  Prophet  said:  "Do  not  wish  to  meet  the  enemy,  but  when  you  meet  face the  enemy,  be  patient."
RESOLVE CONFLICTS PEACEFULLY:
Ahmad, Musnad, No.695.
Prophet Mohammad said:
After me there will be conflicts and affairs. If you are able, resolve them peacefully.

DO NOT KILL INNOCENTS:
Quran 6:151
Say,  “Come,  let me  tell  you  what your  Lord has  forbidden  you:  that you  associate  nothing with  Him;  that  you  honor  your  parents;  that you  do  not  kill  your  children  because  of  poverty—We  provide  for  you  and  for  them;  that you  do not  come  near  indecencies,  whether outward  or  inward;  and  that  you  do  not  kill the  soul  which Allah has  sanctified—except in  the course of  justice.  All  this  He has  enjoined  upon  you,  so  that  you may understand.”
Quran 5:32
Because  of  that  We  ordained  for  the  Children  of  Israel:  that  whoever  kills  a  person— unless  it is  for  murder  or  corruption  on earth—it  is  as  if  he killed  the  whole of  mankind;  and whoever  saves  it,  it  is  as  if  he  saved the  whole  of  mankind.  Our  messengers  came to  them  with  clarifications,  but  even  after that,  many  of  them  continue  to commit excesses  in the  land.
Quran 26:67
67. And  those  who,  when  they  spend,  are  neither  wasteful  nor  stingy,  but choose  a  middle course  between  that. 68.  And  those  who  do not implore  besides  Allah  any  other  god,  and  do  not  kill  the  soul which  Allah  has  made  sacred—except  in  the pursuit  of  justice—and  do  not  commit  adultery.  Whoever  does  that  will  face  penalties.
Sahih Muslim:
Bk 32, Number 6251:
Abu Huraira. reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Do you know who is poor? They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth. He (the Holy Prophet) said: The poor of my Umma would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrecton with prayers and fasts and Zakat but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell−Fire.
Even in warfare environment Quranic verses and Hadiths have clearly instructed.
1) Pursue the path of peace and reconciliation.
2) Respect and execute peace treaties.
3) Do not commit agression.
4) Fight only against those who wage war against you.
5) In battlefield if enemy doesn't want to fight, let them go or escort them to a place of safety.
6) Patience and forgiveness is better than retaliation.
7) If anyone kills an innocent it is as if he has killed the whole of humanity.
